An eclipse occurs when the moon passes between the sun and the earth, and the moon covers the view of the sun from certain locations on earth, deceiving people. In some cultures, these eclipses are a sign of bad omen and bring misfortune upon those who have witnessed it. The game of Survivor is much like this, Deception is one of the many ways people further their own games in Survivor. Sometimes in the game of Survivor, deceiving people can work to your advantage, or it could be your downfall, otherwise known as karma. One day you could be a part of a huge blindside and the next, you could be the victim of one, that is truly a sign of bad omen, just as such cultures believe when you witness an eclipse. For this season, 18 deceptive castaways from Survivor will be abandoned on the island of Mangaia, which is a part of the Cook Islands. This location is famous for its yearly Solar Eclipses during the summer. They will be forced to work together, live together and survive the harsh elements until only one of them remains to claim the title of Sole Survivor. So who will outwit, outlast and outplay all the rest? Only time will tell... [glow=red,2,300]This is Survivor Eclipse: Mangaia![/glow] surv-eclipsed.proboards.com/index.cgi
